Polynesian restaurant

Food was authentic but authentically bad. Prices are low but the corners cut in ingredients and food preparation are unacceptable!Specifically, chicken karahi was an under sauteed curry. Biryani was boiled rice with chicken added as an after thought.The cook/owner is no longer interested. They should sell the place while their brand still has some value.

As someone who was born and raised in Hawaii, I can say that Manoa Poke is the real deal when it comes to authentic local Hawaii food. The poke doesn't come with any toppings like edamame or mango. They serve comfort food like mac salad, a classic lunch side, and spam musubis. The spicy and shoyu salmon poke are probably my favorite things on the menu, since I crave raw fish all the time - the salmon they use is so creamy. When I’m not in the mood for poke, I LOVE their salmon belly that’s coated with an addicting teriyaki sauce (i.e. I pour the leftover sauce over rice and other things) and mochiko chicken, which is a deep fried marinated chicken that tastes like a sweeter version of Japanese karaage chicken. The people who run the shop are so kind - go and support them!

I really liked the whole experience about eating in this restaurant. It is a very warm and cozy atmosphere, the owner and the waiter are very welcoming, and are always walking around to see if you need something. The food was very very good and the price was the best part.If you want good food at affordable prices, this is the place to go. I would definitely be back again.

Best authentic Hawaii poke behind Hawaii. The food is great and staff are very friendly. This is a place worth driving to for poke. I highly recommend it. You wouldn't be disappointed, only thing is they do sell out, so order early online. If you're not into raw fish. They do have fried chicken and Kalua pork, too. Everything is good. Oh, don't forget the desserts. Delicious

Horrible food. This has to be the worst Pakistani food I have ever had in North America. Flavourless curries, overcooked meats, similar curries used in multiple dishes and above all hands-down the worst biryani ever made without basmati rice, colored with Turmeric instead of traditional Saffron. Extreme cost cutting. I really don't know how this place shows up when you look up 'Best Pakistani food in Vancouver'. Either the people rating it don't have much experience with genuine Pakistani cuisine or the place seriously went downhill by the time I got to it.

All their poke is gluten free! They use tamari instead of soy sauce. Staff was super helpful and friendly, and they didn’t skimp on the portion either. A little pricey but can’t complain about that for the quality and taste!

It was great. The thaali although had NOT the things on it which were listed outside i.e. nehari, haleem , tandoori tikka etc. But it was plentiful. AMAZING Naans and they upped the price a dollar as well. All in all good and a great meal for a tenner. We will definitely be back.

They were so nice & the poke was amazing. I got the spicy tuna and salmon shoyu in a bowl and it was all so fresh and delicious. Thank you guys so much!! ❤️

Me and my family always order food from here and it is always delicious. Best quality, always made with fresh ingredients. Be sure to try out their lamb biriyani, it is amazing. Get them to add a jalapeño on it and you have one of the best dishes in the world. Al Watan is the best place on Fraser street to grab lunch or dinner.
